 How to crochet keyboard wrist rest

Hello dear,

I just crochet this simple keyboard wrist rest and want to share it with you guys.

Material

Yarn: Depend on your choice, I used 8mm fluffy yarn

Hook: Size 6mm

Needle for sewing, scissors, markers

Decorative tag

Stuffing ( if you use smaller yarn size)

Time cost: ~ 2 hours

Finish product size:

33 x 8 x 2.5 cm

But with this simple pattern, you can easily adjust the size.

About the stuffing:

I use 8mm yarn so the final product is thick enough. However, if you use smaller yarn, you could add a little stuffing so the cushion is slightly higher than the keyboard border. If you stuff it too much, your hands will have to curve over it, which creates a different type of discomfort. So, try to stuff it a little bit, then test the comfort level before adding more.

Abbreviations (US Crochet Terms):

• R – round
• ch – chain
• sc – single crochet
• st / sts – stitch / stitches
• sl st – slip stitch
• (….) - number of stitches of each round/row

Pattern

	8mm yarn	different yarn size
R1	ch10	chain until you reach the width you desire, chain 2 more.
R2	from the second back bump, sc in every stitch ( 9 sc)	from the second back bump, sc in every stitch
R3 - 35 ( or continue until reaches your desired leghth)	sc 20 around the entire base, sl st (20)	sc around the entire base, sl st

Fasten off. Using your yarn needle, sew sew both sides together. Do the same with the decorative tag.
